Patient Spotlight
Keys for Hope
Keys for Hope was started as a school project by kids in Mt. Pleasant, who
are raising money for Crisis Ministries, Charleston's homeless shelter. The
funds raised are dedicated to building the new shelter building and soup
kitchen. Each decorative key symbolizes "shelter" and the hope for a better
future for Charleston's homeless men, women and children. These future
philanthropists realize that together, even kids can impact their community
in a big way. For more info on Crisis Ministries,
www.charlestonhomeless.org

Each key is hand-designed and decorated. They can be worn as necklaces, key
chains, backpack charms, and even used as gift tags, stocking stuffers,
teacher gifts and ornaments. When you wear your key, you are showing your
support in the fight to end homelessness, one person and one family at a
time.

If you are interested in making a donation, ordering keys, or have a group
that would like to get involved in some way, either post it on this page or
send an email to pilley@bellsouth.net. Currently, our keys are available for
sale at Wonderworks toy stores in Mt. Pleasant and coming soon to West
Ashley.
Water's Edge Dentistry applauds these young adults, Clara and Matthew
Pilley, Sophie and Olivia Estoppey, Zoe and Abby Hricik, and Ellie and
Natalie Schuck, with their big hearts to help others. YOU HAVE INSPIRED US
ALL!!!! Keys will also be able to be purchased at the office.

September Patient Spotlight - Ben Eckles
Hi everyone! My name is Ben Eckles and am new to Charleston.
I'm originally from Birmingham, AL and come from a family of 7! I tell everyone that I'm
the oldest AND best looking of the bunch but all of my brothers and sisters
disagree!! Some fun facts about me... I learned to fly an airplane before I
knew how to ride a bike; I love playing guitar and writing music; I'm an
entrepreneur- which according to my Grandfather is defined as someone who
refuses to get a real job; and I'm currently single (just thought I'd throw
that in!).
Work-wise, I'm a professional photographer and owner of Couture Photography.
I specialize in wedding & bridal photography and offer other sessions
including: engagement, family, children, & newborn. I work on location
anywhere from Charleston to New York to San Diego. I'm involved in a variety
of events and charities with the most recent being Guinness Book of World
Records- World's Largest Fearless Bride Photo Shoot. It's been a dream of
mine to set a world record ever since I was little and figured what better
way to that than in beautiful Charleston, while incorporating my passion for
photography. If you're interested in attending, the event is October 2nd,
2011 and you can register on my website: www.ShotByCouture.com.

July Patient Spotlight - Natalie Gregory
Hello! I'm Natalie Gregory. Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee I fell in
love with Charleston coming to visit my high school sweetheart, Josh
Gregory, while he was at the College of Charleston. Luckily my parents,
Danny and Tita Massie, moved here while I was a student at Presbyterian
College. I went to medical school at MUSC and after graduation Josh and I
moved to Denver, Colorado as newlyweds. We spent 4 years in Denver while I
completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. We then moved back to
the South and settled in Mt. Pleasant in the summer of 2008. I joined
Lowcountry OB/GYN and am loving private practice. We welcomed our beautiful
and hilarious daughter, Della, in October of 2009 and will add another baby
to the family this winter. Loving my own family and helping others to grow
theirs is what I live for each day. I have the most wonderful and rewarding
job in the world. It's definitely the happiest part of the medical field in
my opinion.
When I'm not at the hospital or chasing little Della around, I help out at
the CARES Clinic (the MUSC student-run free clinic) and I enjoy reading,
going to the beach and to concerts, doing activities with my church, and
visiting with my 3 nieces and 3 nephews as much as possible.
May Patient Spotlight - Shane Doll
Hi, my name is Shane Doll and I’m a certified Charleston personal trainer and founder of Shaping Concepts Personal Training
Studios located in Mt. Pleasant. Originally from Youngtown, OH, I’ve been living in Charleston for going on ten years now.
This is home now and there’s no place I’d rather be. I’m recently married to my beautiful wife Lina Norena and together we’d
like to start a family here. I moved to Charleston to fulfill my dream of starting my own personal training studio as a
way to help people in ways the big box health clubs don’t. That dream has become a reality and I feel blessed to be able to
do what I do every day. I find no greater reward than the satisfaction of helping someone change their life for the better.
Coaching is my passion so that is a large part of my life.
When I’m not working I like to spend my time outdoors boating, fishing, hunting, shooting, and doing all the things a
country boy who grew up on a farm likes to do. Fortunately, my wife likes to do these things as well so it all works out.
As a former college football player at Bowling Green State University, I also have a passion for college football.
Of course I still root for my Falcons but since I’m a South Carolinian now the Gamecocks have naturally become my team and
receive my allegiance … Sorry Clemson fans.
